Peace and Blessings Y’all!

My EP, Life Feels Better by the Water has been out on all streaming platforms for a little less than a week now. On Wednesday, August 11th, I had a beautiful and intimate virtual listening gathering. At midnight I pressed publish on my bandcamp site. Twelve hours later, my mother passed away. August 12th will never be the same. I’m grateful that she gave me the space to have the listening and release it without grieving about her being gone, but it’s been terribly difficult to promote the release. I am so incredibly proud of this little bundle of myself. For so long, I listened to what folks wanted me to sound like. This EP is exploring the sounds I’ve always wanted to create.

This journey has given me a lot to think about. I want to begin blogging again and sharing those here, on my website more frequently, but I need some time to figure out what life means without my mother here physically anymore.

In less than a month, my EP, Life Feels Better by the Water will be available on Bandcamp! Purchase there with any of my other music and poetry book. I am really looking forward to sharing this little nugget of music with the world. These songs and the performance of them on this EP truly make my heart sing.

Peace and Blessings Y’all!

I am so excited to share that I will be releasing a new EP this summer! The recording of all the music is done! Along with new music, I’ve been working on organizing NYC area musicians to create better for us and for the scene and culture. Happy New Year! It was time for a bit of a tweak, and here we are! The New Year is also bringing firsts! My first ever book of poems will be released by myself in a limited run of 100 copies. The title is, Even In This Crazy World, I Can Say I’ve Been In Love. It will be available to order on Friday, February 5th from my Bandcamp page.
