What A Year!

This was originally written October 2021, but I never posted it. Here it is.

I came to this page because Twitter didn’t feel like enough, but I’m not even sure where to start.

What if I start with the good?

I’m alive, I’ve got relatively good health, I can use my body, I am housed, I am employed. I released a new project, Life Feels Better by the Water.

The bad? My mother passed away. It has been two months and 7 days. She passed away just around 12 hours after I released my new project. I’m still not sure how to feels most of the time. Sometimes, lately, even, I’ve been randomly reliving her last few days at home. I’m not sure if this is the space to talk about those things, but maybe it is. Maybe it’s the only thing I should talk about for a while.

One of the things that have come out of this is a desire to want to do great things with more urgency than ever. Take writing courses, apply for dream jobs, network with people who are doing what you want to do, create the content, love hard, live life fully.

Another effect of this life-changing event is a lack of fear. One of the worst things that could happen has. What else can I lose? So, I’ve decided to do some community work. More on that later.

Maybe this space will be for sharing my dreams and frustrations and the things that I’m reading and listening to… We’ll see
